Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Relations Zubairu Dada attended the 38th Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) held at the Istanbul Congress Center.
Dada joined other Islam states including Niger, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and others,
President Erdogan reiterated the readiness of Turkiye to extend all possible assistance for the efforts of the OIC.
Headed by Ambassador Hissein Brahim Taha who was elected the Secretary General in November 2021, OIC aims to represent the Muslim world in order to protect and safeguard vital interests of Muslims in the spirit of promoting international peace, security and harmony as well as inter-faith dialogue among various people of the world.
